The S2000 Blog Hello World Post
If all goes according to plan, I’ll be picking up my new-to-me 2001 Honda S2000 on Sunday. I’ve been hot for this car since it was released. I remember watching the VTEC.net videos of the prototype being flogged on the ‘ring and the Best Motoring videos of all the official first tests. It was about the time I had graduated college and promised myself a new sports car. After all, that was the shallow goal set for finishing college, and after nearly 8 years of work to get my bachelors degree, and a fresh new job for HP (before they sucked and outsourced everything), my first stop was to our local Honda dealer to get the S2000 brochure. The brochure lived in my garage for years, but after a super clean a few years ago, it was finally pitched. But the thought of ownership of this car has not been forgotten, and that dream may soon be realized…
