Fix Your S2000 Driver’s Window Auto-Down Function

Does your S2000 driver’s door window no longer automatically go down when you drop the top and/or the one-touch down feature isn’t working? It’s a super easy fix and requires no tools! Here’s the procedure I found on S2ki.com:

I have a MY00 that has had this problem for over a year. I just ran out to the parking lot and tried it. Here’s what I did:
-Start the engine (didn’t work for me until I started the engine)
-Roll the window all the way down
-Pause for 1 sec.
-Push the button down for about 2-3sec until a click is heard
-Roll it up and now it works fine!!!!

My fix worked a little differently, but used the same principles. I turned the car on, and lowered the window all the way. Waited a second and then pressed down on the button again until I felt the reset click described in the above article. Sure enough, the window temporarily doesn’t do anything until you turn it off and turn it back on. But the one-touch still wasn’t working. So I decided what the hell, let’s try it in reverse. So I reset it from the top. Viola, restored one-touch down drivers window on my S2000! I haven’t tested it while dropping the top because the hardtop is on today, but I’ll keep an eye out for the next time.
